When it comes to home décor you have few retail choices beyond purchasing generic decorative art from stores such as IKEA or AliExpress. We want to offer you something beyond generic prints of common artwork. This is how you can have your own piece of art that’s relevant to you decorate your home.

  • Provide us with a message outlining your needs and good quality photographs of the person, pet, landscape or object that you wanted us to paint. We also recommend sending us more than one photograph, preferably from different angles (profile and portrait).
  • Describe in much detail as you can how you want the subject to appear. Would you like your husband to be painted with your dog? Would you like a family member incorporated into an existing image?
  • We will produce a draft of the painting. This is when you should suggest any changes because once our artists have started work they will not be able to change the work.
  • We can then arrange for the framing and delivery of the painting.

In this series we’ll demonstrate how a photograph is turned into a painting step by step. Our aim is to educate you about every aspect of what we do at Custom-Artist.com. If you are curious about what we do, watch this space!
